About This

• This closed lunar phase demonstration box visually restores the full waxing and waning lunar cycle, dedicated to analyzing the astronomical formation mechanism of lunar phase changes by simulating sunlight irradiation and the relative motion orbit of the Earth and Moon.
• Built-in interlocking gear linkage structure realizes two synchronous celestial motions at the same time: counterclockwise rotation of the small turntable drives the moon model to revolve around the earth model, and the gear set simultaneously drives the moon model to complete its own axial rotation, fully restoring real celestial operation laws.
• The lunar sphere adopts black-and-white hemispherical split design to simulate the bright illuminated by sunlight and the dark shadow of the moon. Users observe lunar phase patterns through the top observation window, and the built-in flat mirror uses light reflection to present clear lunar phase images corresponding to different orbital positions.
• Equipped with readable large and small calibrated dials and a blue control dial for precise angle adjustment. Rotate the blue dial to synchronously shift the position of the lunar model, enabling step-by-step observation of the complete phase transition process from new moon, crescent, half moon, gibbous moon to full moon.
